First Chapter Submissions
How to Submit
Send your submissions in a Word document to: words@fiction-factory.biz
quoting your PayPal transaction number.
Send a maximum of 5,000 words of your First Chapter only. (If your opening chapter is longer, send the entire chapter but clearly mark the 5,000 word point).
In the same document, send a one page synopsis (not included in the word-count).
Attach it as a Word document to an email. In the body of the email, please include your name, email address, name of your novel and the Pay Pal transaction number.
In the body of the email, please include:
- your name
- email address
- your country
Please tell us how you heard about our competition.
We’d also love it if you could send a few words about yourself
Entry:
Payment: Please go to the secure website to pay by Pay Pal.
Your entry will be forwarded to the judges on receipt of your Pay Pal payment notification
Terms and Conditions:
- The Competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
- International entries are welcome but stories must be written in English.
- Chapters must be previously unpublished
- Deadline: 29th February, 2024
- Maximum word count: 5000. If your first chapter is longer, please clearly mark the 5000 word point.
- Include in the same document a 1 page synopsis (not included in the word-count).
- All work submitted must be the entrant’s own original writing, and should not have appeared in print or appear on a website (including blogs and social networking sites).
- Winners will be announced in July, 2024
- The judge’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into
- Entries must be made electronically and the fee paid via Paypal.
